Dynamic assets
Dynamic assets such as pumps, overhead cranes, vehicles, conveyors or other types of machinery have a functional state that can change quickly depending on the maintenance that is done on the equipment. An annual or five-year inspection for this type of asset is therefore not appropriate. Urbi.ai has developed a data collection module that allows the equipment signals to be collected in real time and thus determines its functional status. Thanks to the IoT collection module the basic principles of asset management can be applied to dynamic assets.
